As for pronouncing it...your guess is as good as ours.

Casa Naranja Does The BluePrintCleanse - T'was the night before

Brenda and I have been on the phone non- stop vetting each others food or rather non-food choices today. For example "Does a cup of spinach artichoke cheddar soup from Hale and Hearty count as a good choice?" "Should I have a Vanilla Latte, you know, as my last hurrah?"

All I can say is "que vaina!!!"

UPDATE: We just picked up the juices at the Blueprint Cleanse Warehouse in Chelsea. Must say they are extremely organized. 1 bag that includes 6 clearly labeled juices per day. I am reading and memorizing the little cute cheat sheet they included. Is that not a good sign?

Starting this coming Monday Brenda and I are embarking on a 5 day Renovation BluePrintCleanse. YIKES!!!! Do any of you want to join? It will be fun after you get over the part of no Meat, cheese, bread (all white processed foods), alcohol, coffee, candy, sweets. Really it will.
We will be reporting daily- -seeing that we wont be doing much else. This decision to cleanse made me realize how big a part of your life food is, everything from thinking about your next meal to going out for dinner and drinks with friends. Oh dear, what have I gotten myself into :)

are going to have to change your habits if the habits you are not living
are not giving you the results you want. When you are changing your
habits you will feel uncomfortable that is normal. To upgrade your
habits
Take a look today at some of the habits you have that no longer serve
your intention of feeling better.
1. what food choices are you making out of habit
2. what exercise habits do you have
3. what beliefs do you have (like its to hard, i can't do it)

What new habits can you start developing today. Instead of focusing on
changing your old habits just replace them with new and improved habits.
It takes time to build new habits, about 30 days but after that it will
be who you are.

Today practice some new habits
1. start a habit of mindful eating
2. don't eat unless you are hungry no matter what
3. stop when you are satisfied NOT stuffed
4. eat foods that you are proud of eating
5. write down what you eat and really pay attention
5. start seeing yourself as someone who does workout regularly
6. encourage yourself instead of discourage yourself
7. make feeling great today a priority, don't give in to old habits

Led by native Argentine Sebastian Grimaldi, who has cooked in some of that country’s best restaurants, including his own, you will discover a variety of flavors and methods for preparing meat, poultry and fish, as you make Empanadas Salteñas (meat-filled empanadas from the Salta Province); Empanadas Buenos Aires; Humitas Norteñas (humitas from northern Argentina); Bifes a la Criolla (Beef Creole); Entraña a la Parrilla con Chimichurri (grilled skirt steak with chimichurri sauce); Guiso de Calabaza, Lentejas, y Chorizo (pumpkin, lentil, and chorizo stew); Lechón Arrollado Azado (roasted pig); Cordero Patagonico (Patagonian lamb); Flan de Dulce de Leche; and Tarantella.

When Rio Paraná joins Río de la Plata, the river splits into several branches forming a complex labyrinth of wetlands known as the Paraná Delta in Northern Argentina. Amongst the meandering canals, the locals navigate in make-shift crafts, with only a few boat-shuttles connecting the delta with the outside world. This enigmatic and mysterious setting is home to Alvaro (Jorge Román), a man who leads a simple, lonely life harvesting reeds and fishing.

The only link between this isolated and boundless territory and the city is the water-taxi “El León.” Its captain, El Turu (Daniel Valenzuela), is a violent and intolerant man who is threatened by Alvaro’s homosexuality and is set on harassing him, only to reveal the desires that underlie his fear.

Santiago Otheguy’s beautiful award-winning feature, is yet another outstanding example of the ravishing nature of Argentinean film.

In my never ending quest for the freshest and hottest, I, Brenda, am your emissary of adventure. Recently, I pushed myself to my athletic limit during a 3-day sojourn to Nike headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon. Yes ladies, I have a very tough job.

We share a tireless pursuit of excellence and an unending desire to always step it up a notch. Cynicism aside (hard to do but breath deeply for a minute)…Nike inspired me!
